Solid Shims

Tolerance compensation with shims made of solid sheet metals and metal foils  Solid shims, which we manufacture in accordance with customers’ specifications, are the classics in tolerance compensation.

M-Tech®S shims permit adjustment in very fine or large tolerance intervals, depending on the selected thickness. The low-cost processing of thin strips offers special options for satisfying demanding adjustment tasks.

M-Tech®S shims are manufactured preferably from sheet metal thicknesses of 1.0 mm and over in any desired – usually small – thickness increments with low thickness tolerances: e.g.1.00 mm/1.03 mm/1.06 mm etc. Grinded shims can also satisfy special demands here.

Laminated with double-sided adhesive tape, M-Tech®S parts can be used for many different applications, such as assembly assistance and for cladding or shielding.
