Flame-spraying
Flame-Spraying (80 KB)
Powder flame-spraying: with powder flame-spraying, the powdery spray additive is melted in a combustible gas flame or an oxygen flame and, with the help of the expanding combustion gases, propelled onto the prepared surface of the workpiece.
If necessary, an additional gas can be added to the flame to accelerate the powder particles. Acetylene, propane and hydrogen are used as combustion gases.
Variants
wire flame-spraying
cold flame-spraying
high-speed flame-spraying
detonation spraying
electric arc spraying
plasma spraying
laser spraying.
Field of application
Smaller functional areas on formed parts. In general, abrasion-resistant, rough functional layers are created for paper processing.
Manufacturing method
Conventional powder flame-spraying in a continuous system. The parts are sprayed individually, in bursts, on a cyclical magnetic belt.
